This is a song about spending time with God. It features 2 Bible stories. The first verse is from Exodus 33:7-11, and is how about Moses and Joshua met with God in the tent of meeting. The second verse, from Genesis 32:24-32, is about how Jacob wrestled with and was blessed by God. Although we never leave the presence of God there are times we sense His nearness more than others. The chorus is about a desire to have those special times of fellowship with Him, free from distractions. Video and lyrics below:

Moses, he pitched a tent
A ways outside the camp
With Joshua his young assistant
God came and spoke with them
Then Moses up and left
But Joshua, he stayed awhile and listened
Wild horses couldn’t drag me away
In Your presence is where I want to stay
I could wait here till the break of the day
Anything so I can be with You (2x)
Jacob, his time was up
That’s when the Lord showed up
And those two spent the whole night wrestling
They wrestled till the dawn
God said “I must move on”
But Jacob wouldn’t let go until He blessed him.
